Laser engraving

Laser engraving is a high-performance, machine-drawing method that can reproduce fine detail with a resolution of about 1000 dpi on a variety of materials. At Laser Cutting Plus we engrave on plastic, wood, leather, glass, Plexiglas, acrylic, stone, paper, and metal surfaces, among others. These characteristics, together with the reliability and ease of use, make laser engraving one of the most popular laser processes.

Specialized two and three-layer plastics have been developed for use in laser engraving. During the engraving process, the plastic's top layer is removed, thus exposing the bottom and forming an image, lettering, etc. Plastics made for laser engraving are produced on a variety of surfaces (metallic gold or silver, textured with various types of stone, wood, etc) and various combinations of layers. Plastics can be designed for laser engraving for both indoor and outdoor applications. Signboards and tablets made from such plastics are virtually indistinguishable from brass or gold-plated products.

We perform laser engraving work using the GCC LaserPro MG380 Hybrid, with a working field of 960 x 508 mm and a resolution of 1000 dpi.
